I watch way too much TV!

I love movies, but I hardly go to the theatre anymore. The increasing problem of ringing cell phones and chatty people really make the theatre going experience undesirable. I have to be pretty motivated by a movie 'event' to get to the threates. My movie watching is done mainly in the comfort of my living room on my 36'' flat screen. I love Netflix and I have yet to find a title they don't carry.

If I'm not watching a DVD, I'm watching something I saved on TiVo. I have three in the house, so if there is something I want to see I'll manage to get it recorded with no conflicts. I can't remember the last time I watched a show at air time. I even time delay football games so I don't have to watch endless commercials and sit through an entire half time to get to the third quarter.

So it's fair to say I see a lot more TV than your average passive viewer. If I hear about a show that becomes very popular, I'll never

start watching in the middle. I love to go back and rent the seasons in order and catch up. If you can be patient, it is always more enjoyable to wait and then watch the show at your own pace and not have to wait for the next episode. The very best example of this was '24'. I now watch the show week to week and it's not nearly as fun as watching them back to back.

Please check my viewing recommendations for series available on DVD. You won't find any reality TV here. For some reasons I only like to watch that more traditionally. You also won't find any movies here. But if you like my taste in TV, come back and visit this section for my favorite movies of all time section coming soon.
